MusicGirl Scholarship Fund
Sandy Ridge Music Fest benefits Sandy’s MusicGirl Scholarship Fund. This charity is a project of the Lake Wales Arts Council and was created by Steve Morrison in memory of his late wife, Sandy Greer Morrison who was an accomplished musician. The focus of the MusicGirl Scholarship Fund is to help girls develop an interest in playing traditional music like folk, bluegrass, country, blues and Americana. The fund provides lessons, instruments, music camp opportunities and mentors to help them continue their musical development.
