This Saturday, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, comprised of Iraq and Afghanistan Vets, will take on the able-bodied winners of the Senior Softball-USA Tournament of Champions. Admission is FREE.​

Senior Softball USA will take to the softball fields of Polk County February 3-7 with one of their most prestigious events, the Senior Softball USA Tournament of Champions. Aside from the many championships contested during the tournament, one of the week’s highlights is the annual exhibition game between the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team and the Senior Softball USA Tournament of Champions All Stars.

This inspiring, moving and fun event will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Auburndale Softball Complex. Admission is FREE. he Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team represents some of our nation’s bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans. These men have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputation, and through extensive rehabilitation, they have become competitive athletes again, playing against able-bodied teams in exhibition games across the country.
