Cracker Storytelling Festival

Cracker Storytelling Festival is annually hosted by the Cracker Storytelling Committee at Homeland Heritage Park. Named after the sound of a whip used for herding cattle, the 29th Annual Cracker Storytelling Festival celebrates the historical culture through professional storytelling, period appropriate dress, and exhibitors.

Festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. each day and food vendors will be onsite.

The whip cracking contest will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 9th. The contest will include cash and trophy prizes.
