Kathleen Area Historical Society Fall Festival

Located in Northwest Polk County, the Kathleen Area Historical Society grow, cut, grind, cook and bottle Cane Syrup at Heritage Park. Spend the morning watching this process, and come have some good ole fashion fun. Syrup will be available for sale.

The Fall Festival celebrates eight historic communities and people of the Kathleen Area. The annual festival features a Pioneer Life exhibit, rummage sale, live entertainment and drawings.

Schedule of Events

  • Breakfast Sausage/Pancakes, Sausage Gravy, and Biscuits with Cane Syrup. 
  • Games/Activities for the Young'uns, Cake Walks, Crafts Vendors and more.
  • Lunch: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Chili and Cole Slaw, and Homemade Desserts
  • Entertainment begins at 10:00 a.m.
