Mr. Central Florida

Oct 12, 2017
6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

This year Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center will celebrate the 5th anniversary of Mr. Central Florida. This black tie dinner will be held on October 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the SUN 'n FUN Air Museum.  The theme of the 2017 event  will be Celebrating Men of Honor themed after Mr. George Jenkins, one of the most honorable men fondly remembered throughout all of Florida. In the early years of the Center it was not uncommon for him to lend his financial support, even making payroll. He felt so strongly about the level of care the Center provides that he chose Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center for his speech and hearing health needs.

During the 2016 event 26 men competed for the title of Mr. Central Florida and together they raised over $141,000. The funds were used to provide care for patients that were unable to pay for services. To-date, over 41 influential community leaders have been nominated for the 2017 Mr. Central Florida. Needless to say, this will be a big night.
