Polk County Solar & EV Tour

Oct 5, 2019 - Oct 6, 2019
All Day

Similar to a historic home tour, the Polk County Solar & EV Tour allows you to see solar up close and connect with fellow solar supporters while visiting the EXTERIOR of homes and businesses throughout Polk County that have gone solar.

Besides fantastic solar homes, the Tour includes the City of Bartow’s City Hall rooftop solar array and  Magnify Credit Union's LEED Gold certified South Lakeland Branch, Florida's first net-zero commercial building.

This event is FREE and open to the public - everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you are a solar owner,
completely new to solar, or somewhere in between – this event is for you.

The Polk County Solar & EV Tour is part of the American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) 24th Annual National Solar Tour, the nation’s largest grassroots solar and clean energy event, held in communities across the U.S. each October.

This is a self-guided tour---you choose which Solar Open Houses you want to visit, and hosts at each location will showcase their solar installations & answer your questions. All Solar Open Houses are open October 5, some are also open on October 6.
