The sounds of the season presented by the students of Southeastern University in rhythmic styles ranging from classical keyboard transcriptions to contemporary percussive oeuvres. 

March 9, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
March 10, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Writers of all interests and experience levels are invited to attend Expressions Storytelling Institute & Writers Conference. At this annual seminar, participants will be given the opportunity to learn the key elements of storytelling and publishing from the best of the best. Guest speakers include professional communicators of all fields—authors, animators, journalists, bloggers, teachers, agents, editors, and more—all with decades of combined experience:

Matthew Luhn | former Pixar animator, writer, story consultant 
Roy Peter Clark | author/editor of 18 books, journalists, writing coach and professor
Tony D’Souza | novelist, journalist, essayist, reviewer, short story writer
Joni Fisher | novelist, journalist, pilot
Bridget Foster | journalist, producer, news director, blogger, nonfiction book author
Tiffany Chacon | novelist, teacher, essayist
Alison Nissen | ghost writer, writing coach and professor, editor, Florida Writers Association board member
Anna Cotton | poet, writing teacher

Southeastern University’s Festival of the Arts is an exploration of the impact and importance of the arts. Southeastern University’s College of Arts & Media will proudly welcome to the stage nationally recognized speakers and musicians of myriad impressive accomplishments who will provide fresh insight into artistic craft and theory. This two-week long celebration of music and story will commence with their annual Expressions Storytelling Institute & Writers Conference and culminate with Sinfonia: Connecting the Arts & Community.
