The Shadow's Horse: A Poetry Reading

Along with other of her famous works, guest author Diane Glancy shares the poignant excerpts from her heritage-exploring and heart-moving collection of poems, The Shadow's Horse.

Award winning Cherokee writer Diane Glancy has published an impressive 45 works including novels and collections of short stories, poetry, plays, and creative nonfiction essays. Having retired as a professor at Macalester College, Glancy travels the country speaking to topics such as faith, writing, land, education, and cultural identity. During a ftheir-day residency at SEU, she will share her fiction and creative nonfiction while teaching students and faculty about Native American experiences of the past and present.
