Lake Wales History Museum will host the 48th annual Pioneer Days Festival on October 26 & 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day. This event is a free, 2-day heritage celebration for the whole family.

This year’s festival will include all your favorites:
- Historical demonstrators
- Pioneer camps
- Early American trades
- Craft market vendors
- Live music, festival food & drinks
- Car and tractor show
- Pumpkin Patch kids activity area with fall crafts, games, corn crib, hay play, and photo station
Also, you can visit with your favorite community organization booths and join in the Pioneer of the Year Celebration to honor pioneers from the past and present an annual recognition award. Funds raised at the event support the museum’s historic preservation projects and public programming.
Beers with Pioneers
Immerse yourself in a unique evening of local flavors and historical tales at the Lake Wales History Museum’s Beers with Pioneers. Part of the exciting Pioneer Days festival, this craft beer crawl on the evening of October 25th invites you to wander through downtown Lake Wales. Discover our vibrant community as you enjoy a selection of beers from our local Polk County breweries, celebrating both our heritage and the spirit of innovation that defines our city.
