On June 21-23, Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort will host a sanctioned ICS Chili Cook-off Competition!
Fire on the Lake Chili Cook-Off
Visit Camp Mack on June 21-23 for the annual Fire on the Lake festival weekend at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort. This year the sanctioned ICS Chili Cook-off Competition expands to include a JEEP Rally with a 7 Slot Show & Shine for the Most Patriotic jeep, among others. Lake Kissimmee will be ablaze with competition as hot as the music. The Camp Mack Riverfront will be alive with chili tastings, live music and specialty food and craft vendors.
Chili cooks compete in this International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned event in either Traditional Red, Homestyle, Verde, and Salsa Categories as either an Adult or Youth Team. Teams will be judged, and the winner crowned as the 2024 Camp Mack Chili Champion.
JEEP owners and enthusiast know adventure begins at the end of Camp Mack Road. So fuel up and venture out to Camp Mack for our inaugural Jeep Show & Shine Salute. Strut your JEEP stuff, take in JEEP demonstrations, cheer on the chili cooks and salute America’s warfighters helping support K9s Partners for Patriots. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Patriotic Jeep and Most Patriotic Pup. Event proceeds benefit K9 Partner for Patriots.
This is a fun filled family weekend. Chili Cook Teams will compete in an International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned event in the following categories:
- Traditional Red
- Homestyle
- Verde Chili
- Salsa
- People’s Choice Chili
Teams (Adult and Youth) will be judged, and the winner will be crowned as the Camp Mack champion. For chili enthusiasts, the event will have food trucks, chili tastings and vendors at the Riverfront who will be selling food and chili the day of the event.
