Bartow’s annual Craft Fair includes a Honey Bee Festival thanks to a partnership between Main Street Bartow and Ridge Beekeepers Association. This downtown event includes a full day of education and fun.
Approximately 100 vendors will be offering a wide variety of handmade, all-season crafts, and honey and honey products will be featured. A pumpkin sale by the Young Farmers & Ranchers will also be included, as well as produce and plant sales. Food will be available for purchase from vendors on the street as well as from Bartow’s downtown restaurants.  An open car show will also be a part of the event, as well as Bartow’s monthly Antique Market.
There will also be a children’s tent and other activities for children. New this year will be a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Bartow High School Band, held in Fort Blount Park from 8:00-11:00 AM. Legacy Dance Studio will perform at Fort Blount Park at 11:00 AM.
Celebrating the Bees
Visitors will find honey featured treats, honey for cooking, honey wine tastings, supplies for starting a beehive, active observation hives for attendees to see the inner workings of the beehive, and the opportunity to visit with agriculture specialists/beekeepers who can help answer questions about the local industry.
