Celebrate 45 years of the Mayfaire 5k Road Race and Walk with an evening run or walk from downtown Lakeland through the historic Lake Morton district. This race is hosted by Lakeland Runners Club, Inc., a nonprofit organization, that promotes running and fitness for people of all ages and abilities in the community.
Mayfaire 5k Road Race and Walk
This popular race begins at 7:00 p.m. near beautiful Lake Mirror and ends on the Francis C Langford Promenade for a unique racing experience. Be sure to glance over at Hollis Garden when you pass by! Regular registration will close on May 7, 2024 but you can register day of during packet pick-up. Please note that anyone registering on May 7 will be given a bib for the last corral of the race. We suggest you register early because finisher items are not guaranteed for anyone registering late.
5K Awards
Do you think you can PR or event win an age group award? Overall, masters, and grandmasters awards will be presented at 8:30 p.m. on the Promenade. All awards will be based on chip time: the elapsed time between crossing the start and finish timing mats. Age group awards will be available for pick up the following week.
