Polk County Visitor Center Extends Seasonal Farmers Market Through July

By popular demand, Central Florida’s Visitor Information Center in Davenport will extend its seasonal Farmers Market through the end of July. The
farmers market was originally set to go on hiatus at the end of April but
vendor demand prompted staff to extend the weekly event through July 28. The
market takes place on Thursdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and features a
variety of vendors offering local produce, honey, jams/jellies, handmade
jewelry, crafts and more.

This event offers local vendors the
opportunity to share their produce and wares with Polk County residents, and visitors alike, while
also serving to familiarize locals with the amenities and services
available at the visitor information center, including vacation planning for
their visiting family and friends, a Florida souvenir gift shop and the
availability of discounted attraction tickets for many Central Florida
attractions, including LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, the Disney parks, Universal
Studios, Kennedy Space Center, Busch Gardens and more.

Central Florida’s Visitor Information Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week (excluding major holidays), and is located at 101 Adventure Court, Davenport, FL 33837 (along U.S. Highway 27), a half-mile south of I-4 at Exit 55.
