Vacation Rental Safety Procedures
Polk County Board of County Commissioners submitted Health and Safety Guidelines for Polk County Vacation Rental Homes to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Polk County’s Vacation Rental Homes Health & Safety Plan was approved in May 2020. These guidelines are no longer mandatory, but many vacation rental managers and resorts still have enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Check with your vacation rental manager for the specific measures they have in place.
