The 81st Annual Miss Florida Pageant and Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen Pageant will be held at the RP Funding Center June 28 through July 2.

The Miss Florida Pageant is a preliminary competition to the Miss America Pageant which is the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women and one of nation’s largest achievement programs.

Buying Tickets to the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant

Tickets for the preliminary competitions and final round of the competition are on sale and are available at the RP Funding Center Box Office, by calling 863-834-8111, online at or by calling the 24-hour ticketing line 888-397-0100.

This summer’s newly crowned Miss Florida will represent Florida at the 2017 Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City and will travel the state promoting her personal platform. Miss Florida also serves as a state ambassador for Miss America’s national platform partner, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and as an official spokesperson for protection and preservation of America's Everglades.

The Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen program features young ladies between the ages of 13 and 17 competing for the honor of representing the Sunshine State at the 2017 Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orlando. The current Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen Leah Roddenberry has accompanied Miss Florida 2015, MaryKatherine Fechtel, during her reign and serves as goodwill ambassador throughout the state.

MaryKatherine Fechtel, Miss Florida 2015, won her title when she competed with 47 other young women for the opportunity to represent the Sunshine State. MaryKatherine competed in the 2016 Miss America Pageant and was named a Top Ten Finalist and Preliminary Swimsuit winner receiving an additional $8,000 in scholarships
