Explore the Polk County History Center during a family friendly architectural tour and learn more about Neo-Classical architecture, the construction of the building and the stories behind the iconic Old Polk County Courthouse.
The tour is offered on the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m.
The Old Polk County Courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 1989. In honor of our 25th anniversary, we will be offering a family version of our new architectural tour as part of Throwback Thursdays.
