Cultivating a Love of the Musical Arts
With majestical performances provided by the very best musicians, the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra has been bringing sweet melodies to Polk County for almost 60 years. Throughout its history the orchestra has held at its core, its vision to develop a love and appreciation of music. It brings this vision to every program, concert and production it stages. The 2022-2023 Season, the orchestra’s 57th, brings an expansion of programs to include more music and people than ever before.
2022-2023 Season
The 57th Season features symphonies, gallery concerts, a wonderful Christmas event, opera and music from the movies. Performances are held at the Polk Theatre, the Branscomb Auditorium at Florida Southern College, the Polk Museum of Art and the Polk History Center.
