Bok Tower Gardens
To provide the community with a beautiful destination for healthy walks and mental well-being, Bok Tower Gardens reopened to the public on Monday, June 1, with regular gate operations. For limited contact service, visitors may purchase tickets online. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate upon arrival.
Visitors are required to adhere to strict physical distancing guidelines and remain at least six feet apart from other parties. Visitors should have a mask when they come to the Gardens for safety and courtesy to others. Masks should be worn when visiting indoor areas or when physical distancing cannot be achieved.
Polk Museum of Art
Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College will reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 8.
The Museum will be offering advanced online reservations to guarantee entry into the Museum on a selected time and day. While the Museum will continue to permit walk-in visitors, who will be asked to reserve a slot upon arrival, using the online reservations system in advance is the best and quickest way to ensure entry into the Museum.
The Museum is also requiring visitors over the age of 3 and all staff to wear masks at all times; masks are required to enter the building. All visitors and staff who enter the building will also have their temperatures taken by one of the Museum’s Visitor Experience associates and will be asked a few short health questions at check-in.
Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo
Explorations V Children’s Museum
Explorations V Children’s Museum opened on September 1. The Museum took a deep dive into the visitor experience and modified it to include enhanced safety procedures while still keeping your visit centered around kindness and exploration. You are encouraged to bring a water bottle. The water fountains are closed and there is a water bottle refill station by the main doors. Per City ordinance, masks are required for anyone over age 8. Preregistration is not required but is available for people who want less contact at check-in.
