Performing Arts

Lakeland’s RP Funding Center provides a variety of Tony-Award winning and nationally renowned touring Broadway productions. The entertainment center hosts a variety of stand-up comics and music concerts throughout the year.

Community Theatre

Since 1970, Theatre Winter Haven has been delighting local audiences and tourists alike with outstanding performances of the highest caliber. With more than 30,000 tickets sold annually, this theatre group produces a six-play Mainstage subscription season and numerous other events.

Other theatres in Central Florida include: Lakeland Community Theatre, Lake Wales Little Theater and Ramon Theater.

Live Musical Performances

The Imperial Symphony Orchestra hosts multiple performances throughout the year as well as music lectures and family concerts. Enjoy small venue concerts at Ritz Theatre or Gram Parsons’ Derry Down in Winter Haven, and Polk Theatre in Lakeland.

Local Music Venues

Restaurants and bars host musicians throughout the week. Union Hall in Lakeland is a live music venue with a full bar. Grove Roots Brewing Co. in Winter Haven hosts musicians and food trucks. You’ll also find live music at The Poor Porker and Hillcrest Coffee.

Art Festivals

Each year, Florida Southern College hosts a Festival of Fine Arts. The months long festival includes gallery exhibits, jazz performances, ballet recitals and theatre performances.
