Beginning July 3 and lasting through the night of July 4, you will find Independence Day celebrations for everyone going on throughout the county. However you choose to celebrate, we wish you a safe holiday!

Lake Silver at MLK Jr. Park – Winter Haven; 7:30 p.m.
The Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team (reestablished in 2012 by former theme park employees) will perform a special show for the Independence Day, and fireworks will follow the performance.
Lake Mirror – Lakeland; 6:00 p.m.
Celebrate the 4th of July downtown at Lakeland’s annual “Red, White & Kaboom” event. Enjoy live music from Clemons Road, blending Country music with an island feel or vice versa, and be sure to catch the breathtaking fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.
MLK Jr. Park – Winter Haven; 6:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day at this family-friendly event! Starting at 6:30 p.m., bring the whole family and enjoy music, children’s activities, food, and a water ski show. Then, stay for the main attraction, the fireworks show, which will be sure to amaze the entire crowd.
Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium – Lakeland; Game begins at 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day with the Flying Tigers. Players will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys. There will be holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun. The first pitch on July 4th is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., and the gates will open at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are just $5.00.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort – Winter Haven; Every Saturday and Sunday in July and also on July 4th
Celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at LEGOLAND Florida Resort on Independence Day event. With special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks, this July 4th celebration is sure to dazzle and delight.
Lake Eva Park – Haines City; 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
A variety of artists will take the stage this year, beginning at 3:00 p.m. followed by the largest fireworks display in Polk County. There will be plenty of arts, crafts and food vendors, a beer garden and other activities on site. Come join the fun!
