Beginning July 3 and lasting through the night of July 4, you will find Independence Day celebrations going on throughout the county. However you choose to celebrate, we wish you a safe holiday!

Rock N’ Freedom Fest

MLK Jr. Park – Winter Haven; 6:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day at Rock N’ Freedom Fest! Starting at 6:30 p.m., bring the whole family and enjoy music, children’s activities, food, and a water ski show. Then, stay for the main attraction, the fireworks show, which will be sure to amaze the entire crowd.

Red, White & Kaboom

Lake Mirror – Lakeland; 6:00 p.m.

Celebrate the 4th of July downtown at Lakeland’s annual Red, White & Kaboom event. Enjoy live music from Clemons Road, blending Country music with an island feel or vice versa, and be sure to catch the breathtaking fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

4th of July at Bok Tower Gardens

Celebrate Independence Day at Bok Tower Gardens with Free Admission to everyone for the whole day. 

Lakeland Flying Tigers July 4 Game

Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium – Lakeland; Game begins at 5:00 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day during the Lakeland Flying Tigers July 4 Game. Players will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys. There will be holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun. The first pitch on July 4th is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., and the gates will open at 4:00 a.m. Tickets are just $8.50.

Red, White and Boom at LEGOLAND

LEGOLAND Florida Resort – Winter Haven; Every Saturday and Sunday in July and also on July 4th

Celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at LEGOLAND Florida Resort during Red, White and Boom. With special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks, this July 4th celebration is sure to dazzle and delight.

Davenport 4th of July Celebration

Lewis Mathews Sports Complex - 400 Palm Street, Davenport; 3:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks at Auburndale City Beach

Ariana Park – Auburndale; 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Join the City of Auburndale in the Independence Day fun at Auburndale City Beach. There will be fun family activities, food, entertainment and fireworks.

4th of July Celebration of the Shores of Lake Wailes

Shores of Lake Wailes – Lake Wales; 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Don’t miss the annual firework celebration on the shores of Lake Wailes in the city of Lake Wales featuring a DJ, food and craft vendors, games, bounce houses, pony rides and more. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Bartow 4th of July Celebration

Mosaic Park & Bartow Civic Center – Bartow; 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

The celebration will begin with a patriotic concert from the Bartow Adult Concert Band, at the Bartow Civic Center from 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The 4th of July Extravaganza is set from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mosaic Park. This event features live music, food vendors, games, and much more. And, at 9:30 p.m., it's time for the big event: the fireworks display.

Lake Eva Park – Haines City; 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 

A variety of artists take the stage each year during Thunder on the Ride, beginning at 3:00 p.m. followed by the largest fireworks display in Polk County. There will be plenty of arts, crafts and food vendors, a beer garden and other activities on site. Come join the fun!
