Beginning July 2 and lasting through the night of July 4, you will find Independence Day celebrations going on throughout the county. However you choose to celebrate, we wish you a safe holiday!
Celebrations on July 2
Rockin’ Freedom Fest
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park – Winter Haven; 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day at Rockin’ Freedom Fest! Starting at 5:00 p.m., bring the whole family and enjoy music, children’s activities, and food trucks, AND a free water ski show performed by the Cypress Gardens Water Ski team which will be honoring the 100th Anniversary of Water Ski. Then, stay for the awesome fireworks show, which will be sure to amaze the entire crowd.
At 5:00 there will be a re-dedication ceremony of the newly renovated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park. This time will be used to honor history and look toward the future.
Red, White and BOOM at LEGOLAND
LEGOLAND Florida Resort – Winter Haven; July 2-4
Celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at LEGOLAND Florida Resort during Red, White and Boom. With special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks, this July 4th celebration is sure to dazzle and delight.

Celebrate the 4th of July downtown at Lakeland’s annual Red, White & Kaboom event. Enjoy live music from Clemons Road, blending Country music with an island feel or vice versa, and be sure to catch the breathtaking fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.
Lights on the Lake
Lake Clinch – Frostproof; 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
Join the City of Frostproof to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks on the shores of beautiful Lake Clinch! Food, fun and musical entertainment will round out the event.

Lakeland Flying Tigers 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium – Lakeland; July 4, 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
The Flying Tigers annual Independence Day fireworks extravaganza returns for 2022. Game time 5:00 PM. Following the game, the Sofa Kings will entertain with live music (time permitting), followed by a fireworks extravaganza.
Thunder on the Ridge
Lake Eva Park – Haines City; July 4
A variety of artists take the stage each year during Thunder on the Ridge, beginning at 3:00 p.m. followed by the largest fireworks display in Polk County. There will be plenty of arts, crafts and food vendors, a beer garden and other activities on site. Come join the fun!
Davenport 4th of July Celebration
Lewis Mathews Sports Complex – 400 E Palm Street, Davenport; 3:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Fireworks at Auburndale City Beach
Lake Ariana Park – 321 Ramsgate Rd. Auburndale; 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Join the City of Auburndale in the Independence Day fun at Auburndale City Beach. There will be fun family activities, food, entertainment and fireworks.
Bartow 4th of July Fireworks
Mosaic Park & Bartow Civic Center – Bartow; 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
The celebration will begin with a patriotic concert from the Bartow Adult Concert Band, at the Bartow Civic Center from 2:30 p.m. The 4th of July Extravaganza is set from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mosaic Park. This event features live music, food vendors, games, and much more. And, at 9:30 p.m., it’s time for the big event: the fireworks display.
Dundee 4th of July Fireworks Display
