Auburndale CityFest & IWWF World Barefoot Championships

The City of Auburndale’s 3rd annual Auburndale CityFest will take place on Saturday, October 12, from 4 – 9:30 PM, at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park.

The day will be filled with family-fun activities, a barefoot waterski show, and a performance by Diamond Rio!

Touch-A-Truck

Touch-a-Truck is a popular hometown event in Auburndale! Each year, we feature a showcase of big trucks, utility equipment, and unique vehicles. This year that showcase is joining up with CityFest! Explore and experience the showcase at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park! Get to know the people that drive these vehicles and climb into the driver seat for a view of the controls and features of each vehicle. Touch-a-Truck is a great educational opportunity for kids and adults!

This year you can expect to discover: tractors, a garbage truck, an airboat, a fire truck, a police cruiser, a stock car, and more!

IWWF World Barefoot Championships

The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) is pleased to announce that Visit Central Florida, The City of Auburndale and the American Barefoot Club’s Southern Region has been awarded the bid to host the 2024 IWWF Open, U23 & Junior World Barefoot Water Ski Championships.

These highly anticipated competitions will take place at the new Auburndale Championship Event Lake in Auburndale, Florida October 5-12, 2024. This will be the first IWWF World Titled Event on Auburndale’s Championship Event Lake. The event will provide a platform for the best in the world to showcase their skills and compete for the title of world champion.
