The Annual Carillon Classic 5K at Bok Tower Gardens features what many consider Central Florida’s most challenging 5K course. In 2024, the race will take place on April 6th.
Carillon Classic
This unique 5K requires runners and walkers to cope with elevation changes as well as a variety of terrains, including paved roads and gravel and mulch trails. You’ll enjoy music from the famed carillon tower as you run atop Iron Mountain, one of the highest points on the Florida peninsula.
Race Route
Runners experience elevation changes and various running surfaces, including paved roads plus grass, gravel, and mulch trails. One of the race’s most unique aspects is the Singing Tower’s musical encouragement as the bells ring out during the race.
A kid’s fun run will occur post-race, providing junior runners with a shorter course.
Race Day
Race day registration at Bok Tower Gardens begins at 6:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. The Race Day entry fee is $45 for Bok Tower members and $50 for non-members for adults and $10 for children. The entry cost includes includes free admission to Bok Tower Gardens on race day for runners and their families, as well as an event t-shirt, medal and more.
The event is open to adults and students in grades 1-12 and encourages groups to sign up for the team competition.
