This speaker series will focus on multiple aspects of the Spanish-American War and Lakeland’s connections to it, and complements Platform’s public art project Friends of Freedom. Hear from engaging speakers, experience different cultures through food and art, participate in discussions, and expand your knowledge of Florida’s diverse history.
