Located in the city of Winter Haven, and just a short walk from the shores of Lake May, Venue 650’s indoor and outdoor spaces are the perfect setting for formal dinners, cocktail receptions and off-site meeting functions up to 400 attendees.

Prior to opening as an event venue, the building that is home to Venue 650 was the home of Winter Haven’s newspaper, which had been published since 1911. Now one of the top wedding venues in Central Florida, Venue 650’s high ceilings, exposed brick and industrial feel are a tribute to the building’s rich history.

The versatility of Venue 650’s event spaces provide for a number of different setup options, depending on the type of event being hosted. The 9,100 square feet of indoors space can host larger dinners and receptions, or accommodate multiple setups such as a classroom style meeting with banquet rounds for snack breaks and meals. The trellised outdoor garden is the perfect setting to close out your day with an informal happy hour, or a great place to host a cocktail reception prior to a more formal dinner.
