Galacticoaster at LEGOLAND Florida Resort: A Space-Themed Indoor Adventure
LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, Florida is gearing up for one of the biggest attractions in recent history: Galacticoaster, the park’s first ever indoor family coaster. Opened February 2026, this ride promises a thrilling, creative, and immersive LEGO® space adventure that families will love.
What is Galacticoaster?
Galacticoaster is a brand-new space-themed indoor roller coaster designed for riders of all ages. It marks the first major coaster addition at LEGOLAND Florida since 2011 — and the first indoor coaster in the main theme park’s history.
This unique attraction combines LEGO creativity, interactive storytelling, and an out-of-this-world mission: guests become rookie recruits blasting off into the LEGO® Galaxy.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort continues to serve as one of Central Florida’s top family-friendly vacation destinations. The resort features rides, shows, water parks, SEA LIFE Florida, Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, and now the much-anticipated Galacticoaster experience.
Ride Experience: Customize Your Spacecraft
One of the unique features of the Galacticoaster experience is its interactive customization. Riders use RFID wristbands and interactive touchscreens to build their own LEGO® spacecraft before boarding, with more than 625 possible combinations!
After personalized customization, guests blast off into an interstellar mission full of lights, special effects, and cosmic storytelling, all inside a climate-controlled indoor environment.
Family-Friendly Features & Attractions
Immersive Storyline: Before takeoff, guests start their journey in a themed Briefing Room led by Chief Engineer Biff Dipper — building excitement for the mission ahead.
Themed Queue & Interactive Zones: The indoor queue area (Spaceport 885) adds to the anticipation with interactive elements that set the stage for the ride.
Orbital Outpost Merchandise Shop: After the thrill, families can explore Orbital Outpost, a space-themed retail location stocked with LEGO® space sets and souvenirs.
DUPLO® Tot Spot: Younger adventurers (ages 1–4) can enjoy a soft-play DUPLO® Tot Spot while older siblings ride — making the experience truly family-oriented.
