The Hermes Theater was the very first of its kind when it opened in 1937; a palace of cinematic pleasures, featuring indoor viewing rooms and drive-in screens. For years, she was the beating heart of Lethe, Maine - until a grisly accident scarred her insides and closed her doors. Mildewing and decaying, the Hermes sat barren for over fifty years. Until now. This once-great theater is ready to welcome a whole new generation into her shadowy halls. Strange noises and mysterious figures lurking about have not stalled the proceedings, and the re-opening is fast approaching. Patrons will experience the terrifying delights of Escape from Dollcatraz, Wasteland: The Reckoning, Blood Moon: Costin’s Curse, and more as the films leap off the screens and into their nightmares. Those brave enough to face the opening night crowds are in for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and possibly their last. Grab your tickets, and don’t forget the popcorn; the Hermes Theater’s special shriek preview is about to begin.
