The public is welcome to help the park start off the New Year on the right foot (pun intended) by participating in the annual event. Park rangers and volunteers will be leading multiple guided hikes of various distances through the pine flatwood of the Park as they teach you about the history and plants and animals that make it special.
The Friends of Colt Creek State Park, Inc. will be providing refreshments prior to the event. The event is free with regular park admission.
Tram tours are available: 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. One MUST call the park to reserve a seat for a tram tour, as space is limited 863-815-6761. (To participate in this program, one must have the ability to enter the tram on their own or with the assistance of a companion. Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the elements.)
