A true independent coffee shop, Mitchell’s Coffee House was founded by the Harvey’s in 1998 to fill a much needed void in the community. From the start Mitchell’s has featured local artists and original artwork in the store. Located right in the heart of Downtown Lakeland, it’s the perfect morning or after spot for a quick bite to eat and coffee pick me up.
Each morning Mitchell’s is filled with an eclectic mix of local residents, business people, college students and out-of-towners all enjoying the cozy atmosphere and friendly service.
Coffee & Tea
Offering a variety of coffee & tea options, Mitchell’s is sure to have something for you. We recommend the Dirty Chai or Iced Vanilla Latte.Also, be sure to check out their seasonal menu…there might be something new for you to try out!
Food
Mitchell’s offers breakfast & lunch. From breakfast burritos and omelets to salads and Mitchell’s Famous Chicken Gumbo, this is the perfect spot for a lunch break, study session, or even work meeting. And if you are craving something sweet, the Coke Cake is to die for. Mitchell’s Coffee House also has separate study/meeting space available upon request.
