Many visitors are asking about what the State of Florida requires in terms of Covid safety protocols and vaccinations. The State of Florida does not permit a business to verify Covid-19 vaccination or recovery status, though this does not restrict a business from taking enhanced safety or screening measures consistent with Government guidelines. As of this time, masks are not required by any Polk County, Fl municipalities, though certain businesses may require guests to wear masks.
For international visitors, as of June 12th 2022, the US Government has now removed pre-departure testing requirements for all travelers coming into the United States from overseas. Please note however that the CDC’s order requiring proof of vaccination for non-residents is still in effect. Visit the State Department website for further details.
